Town of Tioga

The Town of Tioga consists of 58.68 square miles and is located in the center of the County. The Susquehanna River forms the southern border, the Town and Village of Owego are to the east, the Town of Candor to the north, and the Town of Barton to the west. The 2000 Census says that the population was 4,840 and the primary industry is agriculture. The Town recently acquired the privately owned Ransom Park as a public park that hosts many community picnics and the annual Pumpkin Festival.
