The Village of Spencer (www.s-ve.com) consists of 1.03 square miles within the Town and has a population of 731 according to the 2000 Census. NYS Routes 96 and 34 merge in the center of the Village at Tioga State Bank's headquarters. The Village hosts the Annual Spencer Picnic every year in August and Nichols Pond provides a quaint natural setting in the Village center.
